If you recently purchased a Genie mower, congratulations! This guide is designed to take you from scratch to fully owning a smart lawn manager.

1. What's in the package?

2. Complete installation in three steps

1. Setting up the charging pile:
● Place the charging pile on a flat lawn, make sure the bottom plate of the charging pile is level, and do not place the charging pile on a depression or slope;
● Do not install the charging pile at the corner of an L-shaped building or in a narrow road between two buildings;
● There should be no obstacles or other objects on or next to the charging pile.

2. Install the RTK:
● Connect the battery compartment to the RTK module；
● Find a location where the indicator light is solid green, and make sure the RTK module is installed in a place with a wide field of view and no signal obstruction;
● Assemble the mounting pole and tripod and insert them into the ground, keeping them upright;
● Install the RTK module to the mounting pole, connect the RTK power supply to the extension cable, and then connect it to the charging station power port.

3. Connect power and secure the device:
● Connect the RTK power port to the power extension cable and connect to the charging station power port.

3. ACC automatic mapping

Before using automatic mapping, please confirm:
1. The boundaries of the lawn are clear, which is convenient for the device to identify and map; 
2. There are no low plants less than 15cm that need to be retained in the area; 
3. Automatic mapping is limited to a single lawn area. Please manually remotely map multiple areas.

4. How to correctly arrange RTK antennas

How to find the signal?

1. Connect the battery compartment to the RTK base station, and find the position where the RTK base station indicator light is green;

2. Turn on the host power, and the host GPS icon lights up, which means that this is the appropriate installation position for RTK and RTK base station.

5. How to build a complex courtyard?

What kind of yard is a complex yard for the robot?

1. Unclear lawn boundaries: If the lawn has no clear physical boundaries, such as walls, buildings or other obstacles;
2. There are multiple independent lawn areas: When there are multiple separate lawn areas and you want to manage the mowing paths of each area separately;
3. There are plants or areas in the lawn that need to be preserved: If there are plants, flower beds or other crops in the lawn that you do not want Geine to touch;
4. Complex terrain or special obstacles: The lawn has complex terrain or there are obstacles that are difficult to identify for automatic mapping (such as plants less than 15 cm).

Set up RTK

● Connect the battery compartment to the RTK base station;
● Find a location where the indicator light is solid green, and make sure the RTK base station is installed in a place with a wide field of view and no signal obstruction;
● Install the RTK base station to the mounting pole, connect the RTK power supply to the extension cable, and then connect it to the charging station power port;
● Assemble the mounting pole and tripod and insert them into the ground, keeping them upright.

Help the robot build a correct map

1. In manual mapping mode, the user needs to operate within 5 meters around the device to ensure good network connection and safety;
2. Guide the device to drive along the perimeter of the lawn on flat and open boundaries;
3. Avoid driving the device on uneven curbs.

Set restricted areas

● Set restricted areas on the map, such as cliffs, swimming pools, deep pits and other dangerous areas to prevent equipment from entering.
● On the map interface of the application, select the area to be set as a restricted area and adjust the shape and size of the restricted area.

Expand the map

If necessary, you can expand on the already established map.

6. Installation precautions for charging base stations

Choose an open area: Make sure the charging base station is installed in an open area without obstructions. Do not install the charging pile at the corner of an L-shaped building or in a narrow road between two buildings.

Keep it level: The base station should be placed on a flat ground level with the lawn. Do not place the charging pile on a depression or slope.

Ensure a safe distance: Keep at least 2 meters away from buildings, trees, and walls.

Avoid signal interference: Stay away from equipment that may generate electromagnetic interference, such as substations and air conditioners.

Correct docking: Make sure there is at least 10 cm of space behind the charging base station and at least 1 meter of space in front to facilitate smooth docking of the robot. There should be no obstacles or other objects on or next to the charging pile.

7. PIN code usage

Purpose of PIN code

1. Equipment operation verification: Before operating the machine, you need to enter the PIN code to verify the identity of the operator. This is to ensure the safety of the equipment and prevent unauthorized use;

2. Lock and unlock: The PIN code is used to lock the equipment to prevent accidental startup during maintenance, cleaning or repair. At the same time, after completing the corresponding operation, you can unlock the equipment by entering the PIN code.

How to decode for the first use?

Enter the 4-digit PIN code to unlock. The default PIN code is 0000. Click the OK button 4 times to confirm.

If you want to change your PIN please follow the steps below:

1. Open the APP and log in
● Make sure you have downloaded and installed the ANTHBOT APP;
c After opening the APP, if it is the first time to use it, please complete the registration process first, register an account with your email address, and enter the account and password to log in.

2. Enter the PIN code modification interface
● After successful login, you need to connect to Genie via WIFI and enter the device home page;
● Click the icon in the upper right corner to enter the function page, click PIN-Code Reset, and enter the PIN code modification page.

3. Modify the PIN code
● Enter the 4-digit PIN code you want to set, and click reset to complete the PIN code modification.

4. Unlock the host When you need to unlock the host PIN code, please follow the steps below:
● "MOW": The current odd number increases by one;
● "HOME": The current even number increases by one; 
● "ON/OFF": Confirm the current number.

8. Distribution network

Network configuration brief description:

Network configuration is the process of connecting Genie to your home Wi-Fi network. Through network configuration, users can use the app on their mobile phones or tablets to receive device status updates, remotely control Geine, set mowing plans, etc. Network configuration is the prerequisite for realizing all the functions of the smart lawn mower.

Network configuration steps:

1. Make sure the device is ready: Make sure Genie is powered on and in the network configuration state;

2. Download and install the app: Download and install the ANTHBOT APP on your smartphone;

3. Register and log in to your account: Open the app, register a new account or log in with an existing account;

4. Turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi: Make sure the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi functions of your phone are turned on;

5. Search for devices: Select Add new device or Search for nearby devices in the app to start searching for Genie;

6. Select Wi-Fi network: Select the home Wi-Fi network you want to connect to in the app. Enter the password of your home Wi-Fi network so that Geine can connect;

7. Check the connection status: Once the network configuration is successful, the app usually shows the connection status and you can start using the various functions of the lawn mower.

9. APP

To download the APP, you can scan the QR code to download it, or search for "ANTHBOT" in the Apple store to download it.

● Download and install the ANTHBOT APP;
● After opening the APP, if it is your first time using it, please complete the registration process, register an account using your email address, and enter your account and password to log in.

Function Introduction

1. Equipment control: Remotely start or stop the mower, set mowing plans and parameters through the APP;

2. Map creation: Use the APP to create and edit lawn maps, including automatic and manual mapping modes;

3. Restricted area setting: Set restricted areas on the map to prevent the mower from entering specific areas, such as swimming pools or flower beds;

4. Status monitoring: Real-time monitoring of the working status of the mower, including battery power, mowing time, etc;

5. Maintenance reminders: Receive maintenance and cleaning reminders for the mower to ensure equipment performance;

6. Fault diagnosis: Diagnose problems that the mower may encounter through the APP and provide solutions;

7. User settings: Personalized settings, including PIN code settings, language selection, unit settings, etc;

8. Firmware update: Receive and install the latest firmware updates for the mower to obtain improved functions and performance;

9. Customer service: Contact customer service through the APP for help and technical support.

10. Genie Updates and Upgrades

1. Check for updates: Check in the ANTHBOT app to see if there is a software update available for your Genie;

2. Download updates: If an update is available, follow the app prompts to download the update file;

3. Prepare the device: Make sure the Genie is charging and has enough power to complete the update process;

4. Install the update: Follow the instructions in the app to start the update process. The device may restart automatically;

5. Monitor the progress: Watch the progress of the update to ensure that the update process is not interrupted;

6. Test functions: After the update is complete, test the various functions of the mower to ensure that the update is installed correctly;

7. Hardware upgrade: If a hardware upgrade is involved, you may need to contact a professional service person or follow the instructions in the manual.

13. How to Set Up a Small Animal Sanctuary

Set restricted area:
● Set a restricted area on the map to prevent devices from entering;
● On the map interface of the app, select the area to be set as a restricted area and adjust the shape and size of the restricted area.

14. Accessories

1. Blade

● Blade Replacement Cycle/Wear Introduction: We recommend replacing the blade every three months. The replacement cycle of the blade depends on the frequency of use and the type of grass. If the blade is no longer sharp or is obviously worn, it should be replaced.
● Replacement: First turn off and disconnect the power supply of the mower. After the blade stops turning completely, remove the blade cover, remove and replace the old blade. When installing a new blade, make sure it is installed correctly and refer to the illustrated instructions if necessary.

2. Blade Disc

The blade disc is a key component for mounting blades and controlling the height of mowing. With the ANTHBOT APP, you can adjust the blade disc height to adapt to lawns of different heights.

3. Battery

● Turn off the power of the device first
● Place the device flat on a soft, clean platform
● Unscrew the screws of the battery compartment with a screwdriver and remove/replace the battery
